How I Got It:
In the fall of 2010, I acquired the surgical gown, Riff's vest, Janet's dress and sweater, and a feather boa from the Roxy production from someone who'd had them at the Tiffany theater film show. The Tiffany acquired these costumes in the fall of 1979. They had apparently been in storage since the closing of the Roxy production and the bill had never been paid. The costumes then made their way to the Rocky Horror fans at The Tiffany Theater in Los Angeles. The surgery gown and associated costumes were displayed at the Second Annual Transylvanian Convention in February 1980.
Only the surgery gown looks close to the one from the film, but if people ask, I can post the others as well. (Janet's dress is teal polyester and unlikely to be recognized by anyone other than big fans of the Roxy.)
